The Story Behind the Work
Faith to Fortune
I didn't come from money, connections, or a family full of investors. What I came with was curiosity — and the kind of faith that moves before it sees the full picture.
A single question started it all: How does someone go from the same position I'm in to closing deals I didn't even know were possible? That question led me to wholesaling. And wholesaling led me to everything else.
From the beginning, I understood that information without action is just noise. Real estate is full of people who know the theory. I made a decision early — I wasn't going to be someone who studied the game. I was going to be someone who played it.
Wholesaling built the foundation. It taught me how to find opportunity where others saw nothing, how to have honest conversations with sellers, how to negotiate with integrity, and how to keep moving when deals fell apart. Every lead, every contract, every closed door sharpened something in me. And with each deal came the same question: What else is possible?
That question walked me into my first fix-and-flip. I had been watching investors profit on the back end of deals I was bringing them — and I knew I was ready. Flipping taught me construction, positioning, risk, and speed without recklessness. It taught me how buyers think and how to move a project without losing the margin.
From there, buy-and-hold and BRRRR became natural next steps. I wanted assets, not just closings. Stability between transactions and long-term cash flow. I took the same instincts from wholesaling and flipping and applied them to building something that lasts. Then came small multifamily — duplexes, small buildings — and with it, a new understanding of leverage, efficiency, and what it really means to stack wealth. Creative finance wove itself in along the way. Subject-to, seller financing, assumptions, hybrid structures — not as a specialty, but as a tool. Whatever the deal required, I learned to provide.
And through all of it, something kept happening: people started asking the questions I once asked.
How did you learn this? How do you find these deals? What am I missing? How do I stop making the same mistakes?
They weren't looking for hype. They were looking for what I had always valued most — clarity, honesty, real strategy, and someone who had actually done it.
So I began helping investors the same way I wish someone had helped me. Not by talking at them, but by walking alongside them. Bringing the years, the systems, the trial and error, and the results into a clear, direct approach that removes the confusion and focuses on what actually works.
I still invest actively. But I also believe this work — the mentoring, the advising, the partnerships — is part of something bigger than the deals themselves. Anointed Advisory exists because every breakthrough I've had came with a moment of grace. A door that opened at the right time. A deal that worked when it shouldn't have. A relationship that changed the direction of everything.
That's not coincidence. That's guidance.
